Speaking of neu formierte Bands, Essens Lieblingscrew hat ihr drittes Mitglied erstmal abgestoßen und präsentiert ihr "bestes Album aller Zeiten. Gerade weil Keule fehlt." Auf "Mikrokosmos" rappen nur noch Mike und Shneezin, der erste Eindruck "Holland" lässt kaum Wünsche offen - 257ers in Bestform. Keule kümmert sich derweil um Frau und Wau-Wau.

"Popmusik wird für Teenager gemacht", weiß Metronomy-Sänger Joseph Mount. "Summer '08" soll Indie-Rock mit funkigen Disco-Momenten verbinden, die 1999 gegründete Band will die Jugend anlocken und ihr den passenden Soundtrack liefern. Der Junggebliebene sagt, er müsse den Job hinschmeißen, wenn nicht mehr genug junge Leute zu seinen Konzerten kämen. Ob der für Millennials nostalgisch anmutende Titel seine Wirkung tut, bleibt abzuwarten.

Nach vier Jahren Abstinenz wird es langsam Zeit für die vierte Platte. Die britische Sängerin, Songwriterin und Multi-Instrumentalistin bringt mit "The Bride" ein kraftvolles Konzeptalbum heraus, in dem es um eine Frau geht, deren Verlobter bei einem Flugzeugabsturz ums Leben kommt. Natasha Khan alias Bat For Lashes erzählt eine Geschichte von Liebe, Verlust, Trauer und Freude.
