Konstanz (leah) - Sun Diegos Schützling Juri ist zurück und veröffentlicht sein erstes Album seit drei Jahren. "Bratans Aus Favelas" orientiert sich mehr an aktuellen Trends, als an Juris Battlerap-Vergangenheit. Mit den Singles "Tutto Originalo", "Bratans aus Favelas" und "Bella Ciao" debütiert er in der Trap-Szene. Auch wenn seine frühere Härte noch vorhanden ist, hört man Sunnys Einfluss deutlich raus.

Das neue Gorillaz-Album "The Now Now" liegt diesmal in den Händen von Damon Albarn und seiner Figur 2-D. Eine Weitentwicklung findet nicht statt, die Fans können sich wieder auf die Mischung aus Dub, Electronic und Hip Hop verlassen, wie jüngst ein Live-Auftritt in Japan verdeutlichte.

Ihre zwei vorab veröffentlichten Songs zeigen: Florence Welch hat auch nach drei Jahren Auszeit nicht verlernt, wie man orchestralen Pop und Bombast zu einem großen Drama aufbaut. Jamie XX und Kamasi Washington standen als willige Helfer bereit.

In 22 Ländern stürmte Alex Christensen 1992 mit U96 in die Charts bis auf Platz eins. "Das Boot" ist einer der erfolgreichsten Technotracks aus Deutschland. Das ist lange her, Christensen arbeitet längst als Produzent, aber seine ehemaligen Mitstreiter Hayo Lewerentz und Ingo Hauss sind weiter unter dem bekannten Banner aktiv. "Reboot" heißt ihr erhofftes Comeback, für das sie neben Joachim Witt auch Ex-Kraftwerk-Schlagzeuger Wolfgang Flür gewinnen konnten.

Noch älter als U96 ist das Guns N' Roses-Album "Appetite For Destruction" - dafür zeitlos gut. Und wie das mit zeitlos guten Konsumgütern so ist, freuen sich zu spät geborene Generationen über, nun ja, Reboots. Der Meilenstein kommt daher als Doppelalbum sowie als Superdeluxe-Edition für rund 150 Euro sowie als knapp 1000 Euro teure Megabox in den Handel.
